Hello! Greetings from Chomrung (6,726 ft)- we just arrived here after four very wet hours in the rain. Our lodge does not have a satelite link-up/internet – so I am logged on at a nearby lodge. All students are in good spirits and we are learning a lot – though dealing with lots of rain. We were at Annapurna Base Camp two days ago (no altitude issues at all) but unfortunately it was pretty socked in. However – during the trek up we have had a few pretty amazing views of Annapurna South and some other huge peaks. I don’t have the itinerary next to me but will try to get it online before we head out tomorrow. The GPS – SPOT messaging system may finally be working – but it still seems a little flaky. All is well here – even with the clouds and mist – it is beatiful. Waterfalls and wonderful people everwhere!
